Hi Guys,
I'm thinking about getting a digital cable box in my room. we have one in our living room, but I want one in my room. I was just wondering how much sighted assistance if any do i need to set up one? thanks in advance,

by setting up one do you mean connecting it to the tv? or programing one? As far as connectiong one goes, You may probably need some sighted help with learning with jacks are inputs and outputs, and if you are connecting via RCA Video L/R audio cable you may want to finda way to mark each of the RCA plugs so you know which one is left right and video. Programming one is a bit more difficult i think. I was able to navigate the shows already stored on my dvr by memorizing the button push sequence to navigate through , but it wouldn't work that easily for scheduling a show to tape as there were too many screens/variables to go through .
